Welcome to the Great Priory Website

Now the festivities have been completed we commence a new year in, I hope, renewed spirits and I offer my personal good wishes to all our members and their families trusting 2013 will prove to be another good year.

I anticipate another very busy year commencing with a meeting of the “Heads” of our Sister Orders in Scotland and their respective Grand Secretaries which will be hosted, for the first time, by Great Priory in mid-January. This has established itself to be an Annual event and has proven to be of great benefit and interest to all concerned.

In March Great Priory will host an unusually large number of visitors who have already indicated their intention to attend our Annual Muster……. because of this I have decided, for only the second time, that the Preceptory of St Andrew will be convened in the morning of the Muster and we (the Great Priory Officers!) will carry out the KT Grade on some of our overseas guests… I am certain the Grand Secretary will intimate this by the usual means and all Fratres will be welcome to attend.

To all those who support our Order here in Scotland and of course to our many Fratres overseas, I give my thanks and pray you may wish to carry on contributing in the year which lies ahead and beyond, this will ensure the Great Priory and its constituent Preceptories will continue to flourish and the Order maintains its place in the affections of so many like-minded Freemasons.
